Breath of Life Walk
Our annual Breath of Life Walk is a chance for local community members to get together and show their support in the fight against lung disease. Each year, the walk attracts people directly affected by lung disease/lung cancer as well as family, friends and others who wish to build healthier communities. Participants will walk or run a 5k at Hellyer Park in order to raise awareness and show their support for those who are battling lung disease/lung cancer.
The Breath of Life Walk will take place from 10AM to 12PM on October 20th, 2018 at Hellyer County Park, starting at the Velodrome Group Area. Registration begins at 8:30 AM at the Velodrome Group Area.

Why participate in the Breath of Life?
100% of funds raised from the Breath of Life Walk will remain here in the Bay Area to help fund Breathe California’s wide array of local programs and services. These funds will allow us to assist those suffering from lung disease/lung cancer now, prevent new cases of lung disease/lung cancer in the future and promote lung health research. By taking part in the Breath of Life Walk, you can help us:

"My son and I are walking for my mom, who has been a severe asthmatic for the past ten years. She has been hospitalized 7 times and has had a tracheotomy. We've had a tough time because there are not many treatments out there, but we hope that raising funds will help change that."
