Health Educator
We are looking for volunteers to help lead our asthma education classes/workshops at local schools in Santa Clara and Alameda Counties. Volunteers have to be 18 years or older. Learn more about our Multi-Session Asthma Management Classes.
Asthma Camp Counselor
Every Summer, Breathe California of the Bay Area hosts a week-long day camp for kids with asthma. The camp teaches the children how best to manage their asthma while also giving them the opportunity to participate in fun activities and to meet other kids with the same condition. Camp counselors will assist with the asthma education component as well as activities and field trips. Learn more about our Camp Superstuff.

Breath of Life Walk Volunteer
Every year around the beginning of October, Breathe California of the Bay Area holds its annual 5K Breath of Life Walk. For this event, we need volunteers to help with set-up, break-down, distribution of refreshments, route monitoring, registration and much more. We are also looking for volunteers interested in building a team of walkers to and collecting donations to support our local programs. Learn more about the Breath of Life Walk.

Office Assistant
We are always looking for volunteers interested in helping us with general office work like: creating Word & Excel documents, filing, copying, doing data entry, bulk mailings, and stamping literature.
Health Fair Assistant
We are looking for volunteers interested in representing Breathe California of the Bay Area at health fairs taking place at local colleges, community agencies, and corporations. Volunteers will staff a booth from which they will distribute literature as well as promote our agency’s programs and services.
