[email protected]Join our local health agency as we fight lung disease in all its forms and work with our local communities to protect lung health. As part of the agency’s effort to promote community health, we are looking for a Community Health Intern to assist our staff. The programs involved are asthma, environmental health, anti-tobacco, lung disease, and community outreach. There are special programs for seniors and children.

Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct health education for populations including adults and students.
- Assist with the delivery of agency programs and projects.
- Assist with the coordination and evaluation of classes and presentations.
- Develop outreach targets for health education materials.
- Assist with the completion of reports.
- Schedule services, events, activities in the community, schools and at corporations.
- Outreach to target populations.
- Managing epidemiological data for evaluation.
Qualifications:
- Interest in health education.
- Excellent communications skills.
- Non-smoker.
- Must be enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Bilingual skills a plus.
