About
Entrelac.coop is a French Cooperative Society of Collective Interest promoting the development of the Androswitch, a wearable contraceptive device for men. The Androswitch is a simple silicone ring that is worn most of the day around the penis and scrotum in a way that pushes the testes closer to the body cavity. This increase in temperature suppresses spermatogenesis within a few months and is reversible in the same amount of time after ceasing to wear the ring. Our Grant
MCI is supporting Entrelac.coop in their pursuit of clinical trials of the Androswitch to demonstrate its safety and efficacy in men. Our grant first supports the development and the regulatory certification of the Androswitch’s manufacture as well as studies that are required on the path to its approval as a male contraceptive. |
