Mission, Goals, and Objectives
The mission, goals, objectives and committees of the Angels Camp Museum Foundation are focused on raising the necessary funds to support the development and expansion of exhibits, collections, and programs for the Angels Camp Museum.
We work collaboratively with our community stakeholders and the Angels Camp Museum Director to ensure we enhance the visitor’s experience. We develop fundraising strategies and campaigns, cultivate individual and corporate sponsors, apply for grants, and develop public, private, and nonprofit partnerships that support education and community programs.
The Foundation’s goal is to collectively aim to fulfill the Museum’s mission, promote cultural understanding, and provide enriching experiences for visitors while preserving and celebrating our collective heritage.

The Foundation’s objective is the ensure the preservation, growth, and accessibility of the Museum’s collections, and programs, enabling the institution to fulfill its mission of educating, inspiring, and enriching the public through the exploration of art, culture, history, and science.
The Foundation has committees that work collaboratively with the Museum staff, board of directors, and other stakeholders to provide guidance, expertise, and support in their respective areas. Their collective efforts help shape the Foundation’s direction, ensure effective governance, and contribute to the overall success of the Museum.
