Grandview identifies causes, provides treatment, and makes available direct and supportive recovery services necessary to realistically address the needs of addicted persons. Often times this means treating co-occurring mental health disorders, such as PTSD or other trauma.

An important advantage of the Grandview approach is the location of our facilities in a historic-designated neighborhood. This residential setting fosters an “at home” feeling rather than an institutional or clinical one, supporting clients as they discover that being sober is a safe, rich, fulfilling way to live the rest of their lives.

OUR TREATMENT PHILOSOPHY
We understand that addiction destroys individuals and their families physically, psychologically, socially, and spiritually. 

Grandview’s philosophy is to treat the whole person suffering from addiction, taking into consideration their general and mental health. This approach includes our mission to keeping our treatment and therapy groups limited to 12 people or less to provide each client with a personal, intimate treatment experience through an evidence-based curriculum proven to help people suffering from addiction. 

OUR APPROACH HELPS CLIENTS TO:
 • Develop new sober relationships
 • Find and join support groups
 • Take part in activities
 • Develop life skills and set long-term personal and career goals

In order to become self-sufficient, clients are assisted with exploration of housing and employment resources. In addition, Grandview utilizes the services of many outside agencies to ensure our clients receive all of the support they need during their time in treatment, and often long afterwards. Transportation is provided to enable clients to take advantage of outside services.

While Grandview is not a twelve-step-centered program, we do urge our participants to get a Sponsor and be active in a Twelve Step Fellowship. This is important, as joining a safe, sober community greatly increases chances for long-term sobriety, especially when formal treatment is completed.
