BIO ABOUT ME
Lizz Travers: With over 25 years of equine (horse) experience from the east coast, horses have taught me a lot about life. They love unconditionally, and they heal broken and hurting hearts. Most importantly they give me a purpose in life. Having physical disabilities, and an altered mental state, they give me a purpose to get up every day, and do what I can for them. Dealing with chronic pain, and struggling with mental health, they will make me laugh, cry, and enjoy the finer things in life. Sharing the unconditional love, knowledge, and horses with others is such a wonderful experience. Watching horses heal other people, mentally and physically is magical. I used to ride, and thought that was everything until a life changing event happened, and you can no longer ride. With that I’ve learned that life doesn’t go the way you plan, but you make the best of what you have. Sharing my passion, whole world, and love of horses with others, makes me who I am. Watching people fall in love with horses, there is nothing like that magic. Seeing their personalities blossom, seeing them come out of their shell, and be who they are. This program is a blessing to everyone who is apart of it. Come meet the horses, and wait for the magic to happen!
