THANK YOU TO OUR DONOR
Letter of Invitation 2025
Hello community Partners,
Hearts with Hooves Inc Nonprofit is excited to present our sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming year—opportunities for you to make a significant impact in the lives of residents in your area with ADHD, Autism, anxiety, PTSD, depression, children in foster care, at-risk youths and adults, children in court system, and children and adults with developmental Disabilities throughout the Local Communities we serve.
Participants achieve individualized skill goals through Equine Assisted Learning (EAL). The program allows the participants to build life skills through a series of activities that will aid them to make healthier decisions, social skills, healthy relationships, self-regulation, self-confidence, independence, and emotional awareness. Sessions are a weekly program where participants from as early as 2 years old through golden years come to the farm in Matthews, MO and complete activities with horses that are designed to help participants thrive. For those who live further. we have weekend retreats, and weeklong retreats that are condensed to a fit into those time slots learning multiple activities during stay at farm.
Depression, Drug and At-Risk participants:
Children were included if they were 3 to 17 years old and the respondent answered “yes” to one of the following questions: 1) Has a doctor or other health care provider ever told you that [child] had depression? 2) Has a doctor or other health care provider ever told you that [child] had anxiety problems? Results USA 11.5%, and Missouri is 10%.
Every 40 seconds a child goes missing in the United States every year. Equine Therapy is not just for children or ones with Disabilities, they provide help for substance abuse and behavioral disorders. Investing in children now is our best defense in reducing depression, increasing life skills that empower them transiting into adulthood. We all love cell phones, but our children lack social skills, healthy relationships, self-esteem, lack of impulse control. Cell phones give the freedom for bullying, unhealthy and inappropriate relationships, and lack of skills needed to become our future leaders, emergency response teams, public safety officers, teachers, and of course future parents and employees!
Ending this treacherous cycle begins with each individual participant meeting them where they’re at, understanding their experience, developing their self-worth, sense of purpose, decision-making, social skills, independence, self-regulation and more life skills. That is why we have implemented a program like this to be a part of the solution.
Developmental Disabilities
Equine Therapy is often used in treating a wide spectrum of conditions, learning difficulties, ADD/ADHD, autism, Asperger’s, grief, loss, trauma, bipolar disorders and depression. “Horses have no preconceived expectations or motives, and they are non-judgmental, highly intelligent and exceedingly perceptive, so they connect with people in a completely new way,” Alexa Rostovsky.
Equine Assisted Learning and Therapy can help those with Developmental disabilities in many ways such as:
Please join us in connecting your communities’ children and adults with special needs access to Equine Expressive Therapy (EAL) through Sponsorships and Donations.
With your sponsorship support we will be able build skills using horses that does change their lives for the future and heal through their equine friend. We are building “I matter” one participant at a time.
