JOIN El CERRITO TRAIL TREKKERS
El Cerrito Trail Trekkers is a non-profit group dedicated to preserving, improving and extending the public pathways, stairs, trails, and greenways of El Cerrito for pedestrian and bicycle use. We also advocate for increased public open space, and sponsor activities that involve trails and open space, including hikes, festivals and other educational events.

Since its founding in 2010, El Cerrito Trail Trekkers has built half a dozen trails, led the successful effort to save the Madera Open Space, helped raise more than $350,000 to pay for it, worked with the National Park Service to design trail maps and signs, worked with the Rotary Club on a hillside interpretive trail, and put on hundreds of hikes and work parties.
All of this requires members and donations. Donations are tax deductible. Trail Trekkers is a non-profit, under the aegis of the El Cerrito Community Foundation. The foundation’s federal tax identification number is 68-0485391.
Trail Trekkers has no employees, doesn’t hire consultants, and uses all donor funds for trail work and supplies, open space and trail advocacy, publicity and insurance.
We value your membership and your donations. Annual membership for Trail Trekkers is $20 (includes household) and lifetime membership (also includes household) is $500.
