Former Addl. Director-General of Police

Kuldeep Kumar belongs to the 1985 batch of the Indian Police service. His experience with policing and intelligence work have been diverse. He is a recipient of the Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service and Police (Internal Security) Medal. He has also authored a book, "Police and Counterinsurgency: The Untold Story of Tripura's COIN Campaign (Sage Publications India, 2016)". Mr Kuldeep took voluntary retirement in December 2017 and is settled in Delhi. Since then, he and his wife have been actively engaged in social work and supported orphanages and nursing homes in and around Dwarka, Delhi.
