Greetings in the Name of Christ Jesus, to every friend to the poor and needy i write this piece.
A GIFT OF WATER TO ST DENNIS CATHOLIC COMMUNITY
On 30th October, 2021 I wrote to Joey De Prado and her FOUNDATION FOR THE POOR INC about our plight of poor water in our community, Oklododo st Dennis Church.
Our Church Cummunity is the only Christian faith in this area with a population of over 2,000 families, located in Kogi State, North-central of Nigeria, West Africa
Joey heard my cry for my people and quickly responded; gave her blessings and directed Mrs Theresa of TALENT SHOW OF HOPE to spearhead this project. She, Joey Cecilia was very instrumental to seeing this project completed.
As a priest I saw many of the people dieing because of in-take of bad water, children, youths and adults. The only source of water is the same river that all wash their dishes, also wasshes their bodies after farm work and fetch for consumption.
Since, their is little or no government impart in this locality, many suffer neglect to poor health-care, no formal education and security challenges.
The Borehole project took approximately 8weeks to completions with the Solar Energy plant installed. By this successful project the challenge of death from unhealthy water is tackled, the long hazardous distance journey to fetch water in the river is controlled and the little children can have peace from security of a NEAR-BY SOURCE OF WATER.
The entrie community of Oklododo-Akpoli are enjoying CLEAN RUNNING WATER.
I pray the Almighty God bless all the MEMBERS/DONORS OF FOUNDATION FOR THE POOR AND TALENT SHOW OF HOPE for this merciful act to me and the entire people of St Dennis Catholic community.
Shalom 🕊️ àlèiküm
