Convivium is a nonprofit whose mission is to improve life through food.

Why food? Because it is universal. Everyone eats.

And we believe the ritual of eating is more than just satisfying hunger -- it involves the farmer that grew the food; the soil, sun, and rain that gave it life; the person who prepared it; and the people with whom we enjoy it.

Increasing Access to Healthy Food

Convivium also provides free meals, as well as tools and education about healthy food choices, to children and adults who are struggling with food access, especially those living in the North End of Dubuque, IA. Here's how:

We distribute and deliver free, fully-prepared casseroles each week to those in need of food.

TAKE A TOUR OF OUR GARDENS & FACILITIES

We offer interactive, guided tours of our gardens and facility for large and small groups. Tours are offered throughout the year, but are most fun (and tasty) during the growing season (May through September). Fees apply for guided tours.

We also have a free, self-guided tour you can take at your convenience.
