Our event space offers a unique and intimate venue that is perfect for your next event -- whether you are hosting a meeting, baby shower, graduation party or wedding. Gather around our handcrafted wood tables with your friends and family to enjoy a delicious meal inspired by and grown in our neighborhood gardens. CAPACITY Our event space can accommodate up to 100 people. The rental includes access to 14 handcrafted wood trestle tables and 100 wooden folding chairs. FOOD & BEVERAGE Convivium offers a delicious and unique catering menu with a variety of options that are customizable for any event. Our coffee shop doubles as a bar, with a full liquor license and specialty cocktails using herbs from our gardens are available. No outside food or drink is allowed, with the exception of baked goods. |

It says that proceeds from my event rental support your mission - what does that mean?
Convivium is a nonprofit whose mission is to improve life through food. That means that proceeds from everything we do -- including YOUR event space rental and catering -- go to supporting our outreach efforts of teaching people how to grow and prepare their own food, as well as to creating a more wholesome and secure food experience for all. If I am looking to rent the space at Convivium, can I bring in outside food or drink?
We do not allow outside catering, with the exception of baked goods (cupcakes, a wedding cake, your grandma's famous brownies). Convivium offers a unique and delicious catering menu -- inspired by and utilizing the produce of our neighborhood gardens. We also have a bar and full liquor license. Do you offer a discount for nonprofits renting the space?
Yes, we offer a discounted rate to nonprofits at $75/hour. We do still require a non-refundable deposit to secure your date and time.
What is included in the the space rental free?
Renting Convivium's event center gives you access to 14 handcrafted wood tables (8' x 3') and 100 wooden folding chairs. Most people don't want to cover the beautiful tables with linens, but we are happy to cover them for you if you plan on doing art projects or anything that could potentially damage the wood.
We also offer a variety of other services including: covering the murals with curtains, indoor/outdoor fire, PA system rental, decoration rentals, and custom signs, among others. For a full list of current services and prices, contact Lauren at [email protected].

Do I have to make a deposit?
Convivium is a busy place. Because of that, we do ask for a non-refundable deposit to secure your date and time. This deposit varies based on the time duration and event you are hosting.
I see you have rental options of 3 hours and 8 hours, can I add time to those?
Yes! If you are needing extra time to set up before the event or dance a couple more songs at the end, you can add time with a cost of $100/hour. Please know that we can't always accommodate the extra time if it interferes with our restaurant hours. Check with our Event Coordinator to see what will work for your date/event.
