WORKING TO ALLEVIATE THE NEED FOR FOOD IN OUR COMMUNITYConvivium’s Community Casserole program provides free, wholesome meals that are available each week for pick up or delivery.
The global pandemic and its effects on our economy have exposed and increased the need for food – leaving many families in our community struggling to put adequate meals on the table. The casserole program is one of the ways we work towards increasing access to food -- especially real, wholesome food -- in our community. Since September 2020, we have distributed over 20,000 casseroles to families right here in our community! As you can imagine, this program is made possible by a lot of community support. Generous donations (of time and money) by organizations and individuals have helped us grow the program to meet the increasing need. |

DonateIt has been the generosity of local individuals and organizations that makes it possible to provide over 800 servings of wholesome meals each week. Over the past (nearly) two years, we have continued to expand the casserole program to meet the growing need for food in our community because of donations large and small from people like you.

The Impact“I’m elderly and have trouble getting to the store so the meal provides extra food for me when I don’t have very much, I’m on a fixed income and even that one meal is a big help!” “I recently lost disability because of my age. Also had to quit my part-time job because of my arthritis. So yes, this program helps. Don’t need to spend as much on groceries. And the casseroles are awesome – chicken teriyaki is my favorite.” |
