DAFFODILS4HOPE 2025 - CONTINUING TO BLOOM WITH HOPE

We are delighted to welcome you back for Daffodils4Hope 2025! Building on the success of past years, our mission to transform Johns Creek with beauty and hope continues to grow.

WHAT IS DAFFODILS4HOPE?

Daffodils4Hope (D4H) is a citywide daffodil planting campaign designed to raise awareness and celebrate cancer survivorship. This inspiring initiative is a partnership between Johns Creek Beautification and CanCare—a compassionate community of cancer survivors who offer one-on-one support to patients and caregivers through empathy, encouragement, and shared experience. Together, we plant daffodils as a living symbol of strength, resilience, and renewed hope.

HOW CAN I BE PART OF DAFFODILS4HOPE?

Daffodils4Hope is more than a planting event—it’s a year-round movement! Fundraising and planning happen throughout the year, and daffodil planting takes place each fall between October 1st and December 1st.

THERE ARE TWO WAYS YOU CAN BE INVOLVED:

1. Become a Planting Partner
Join our growing list of partners by sponsoring and planting daffodils at your location. Whether you're a business, school, nonprofit, or community group, your participation helps us bring hope and beauty across Johns Creek.

Deadline to reserve bulbs: June 30, 2025
To ensure we have enough bulbs for everyone, please reserve your daffodils by this date.

2. Volunteer at the Event
We welcome individuals, families, service groups, and organizations to help us make this event a success. A good rule of thumb: we recommend 1 volunteer for every 100 bulbs planted.

OUR 2024 IMPACT

In 2024, D4H successfully planted 10,000 daffodils in collaboration with the City of Johns Creek, Johns Creek Beautification, and our incredible community partners and friends. This brought the program’s citywide total to 62,250 daffodils planted across 23 community locations, including Cauley Creek Park.
On Saturday, October 26, 2024, we hosted our Annual Planting Event, with over 8,500 daffodils planted across six sites, and two additional sites scheduled for planting later in the year. The effort symbolizes not only the beauty of spring blooms but also our united stand with cancer survivors.

Volunteers & Sponsors
This year’s event brought together approximately 190 volunteers, including members of Johns Creek Beautification, Young Men’s Service League, the Ismaili Civic Group, students from Northview High School, Chattahoochee High School, Lambert High School, and dedicated community families.
We are deeply grateful to our sponsors--Home Depot, Lowe’s, Kroger, Sam’s Club, and City Barbeque. Home Depot provided tilling services, while both Lowe’s and Home Depot donated essential gardening tools to make the day possible.
