Secret Gardens of the Johns Creek Community
Secret Garden Tour – 2023 RecapSaturday
May 6, 2023 marked the much-anticipated return of our fabulous Secret Garden Tour—a self-guided, rain-or-shine event featuring stunning private home gardens and the beautiful Autrey Mill Nature Preserve.
Guests explored an array of unique gardens, each brought to life with live music by solo performers and ensembles, as well as talented visual artists creating and displaying their work throughout the day. Friendly volunteers welcomed visitors at each garden, offering insights into the plants and design elements.
Looking Ahead to Spring 2026
We’re already planning our next tour for May 9, 2026, and we're currently seeking beautiful private gardens in the Johns Creek community to feature!
Do you have a garden you’re proud of? Past participants have found it to be a fun and rewarding way to share their hard work and love of gardening with the community--no need for perfection, just passion!

Proceeds from the Garden Tour support the work of Johns Creek Beautification, including public art initiatives such as the Native American Public Art Project and Sculpture. Additionally, funds will contribute to a citywide daffodil planting effort, raising awareness of cancer survivorship through JCB’s partnership with CanCare.

In June of 2022, Johns Creek Beautification endowed a magnificent, 4000 pound metal horse sculpture to the City of Johns Creek. This remarkable sculpture by Eric Strauss, entitled “Entwined Strength,” is installed at the Bell and Boles Roundabout for the entire community to enjoy. Money raised from previous garden tours was the major funding source for this gift to the city. Read more about the sculpture here.
