How do I register a child in a SportsWorks program?

You may register on our website in the child registration section or you may register in person at one of our sessions.

What sports are offered in a SportsWorks program?

SportsWorks originally offered tennis only under our former name, King of the Court Tennis Ministry, Inc.  In 2015, we rebranded into SportsWorks Int'l Ngo and now have the ability to additionally provide basketball, soccer, and flag football subject to demand.  Other sports may be added in the future depending on the level of interest and availability of athletic coaches.  Please check with each individual location to see which sports are available.

How many sessions is my child required to attend in order to 'graduate' at the End-of-the-Season Recognition Event?

Each participant is required to attend a minimum of 50% of the total sessions in the program in order to 'graduate' from the program.  See our Program Structure for more details.

What will my child receive at 'graduation'?

Each child will receive a certificate of graduation, a SportsWorks T-shirt, a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Study Bible, a free book, and a free meal.

Does a child have to be registered in a SportsWorks program to access your educational resources?

No, if a family is interested only in the free tutoring and mentoring services that we have available, we will match them with a suitable tutor or mentor.  Tutoring and mentoring opportunities are available throughout the calendar year, subject to the availability of tutors and mentors.  Fill out the Tutor Request Form to request this educational resource or see the Educational Resources section on our What We Do page for more information.

How do I become a volunteer for SportsWorks?

You can become a volunteer by registering on our website or at one of our sessions.  Once a background check has been completed and passed, you will receive a volunteer handbook, a SportsWorks T-shirt, and a link to a training video.

My organization can provide a resource or service.  How can I partner with SportsWorks?

SportsWorks Int'l NGO accepts in-kind donations, such as athletic equipment.  We will issue you a tax receipt indicating a value equivalent to your donation.  If you would like to partner with SportsWorks, please see our page here or contact us at [email protected] for more information.  Info on making in-kind donations can also be found here.

Is SportsWorks also a registered Canadian charity?

No, not at this time.  We are incorporated in Canada and are also registered as a Canadian not-for-profit organization.
