Around 1 in 6 children in the U.S. are poor, and many more come from low-income families. In the United States alone, 10.5% of the population or approximately 34 million people lived in poverty as of 2019. We are empowering them to realize their full potential and break the cycle of poverty. |

The Challenge We Are Facing
Poverty touches communities all across the globe. Of the 72.4 million children under the age of 18 in the United States alone, 41% are children from low-income families and approximately one in six children are poor. Poverty has a profound impact on children, especially when they are young. The effects of poverty come from all sides - these include a decrease in physical and mental health; social, emotional, and behavioral issues; and reduced language skills and academic achievement. Adolescents in poverty become particularly vulnerable to behaviors such as substance abuse, violence, and risk-taking.

What people have to say
Bijaynagar Champions Cricket Club were having difficulties related to lack of cricket equipment but SportsWorks Int’l Ngo helped us financially from which our young players got benefits and the coaching didn’t stopped due to lack of equipment. " Great Organization!! The team is really passionate about the work. Loved my time working with the organization. |
Behind great organisations are great people who truly care about others. SportsWorks Int'l Ngo was kind to support the Turf Season project by donating kits for our grassroots football league competition early 2021. Beyond that, we benefited greatly from the organisation's moral support, encouragement, mentorship and regular follow-ups to ensure our project's progress. We are extremely grateful to John Klintworth and the entire organisation for their love and support for the Turf Season project. Changed lives says it all! The founder is truly dedicated to helping children find their way out of poverty by giving them tools for lasting growth. God’s plan in action! |
