About Ba Nga Afayo Initiative Uganda

BaNgaAfayo! Translated? It means, “Show you care” Reason being that if it’s too much to ask that people become part of solving a problem, can they at least show that they care? That in itself would require action!
Ba Nga Afayo Initiative Uganda is a nonprofit organisation with a special focus on villages in rural Uganda. The organization was created with the aim of providing critical assistance to destitute children, out of school children (OOSC) and families struggling in terrible poverty through sports, child protection programs, girl child empowerment programs, education sponsorship, vocational skills for self-reliance and literacy skills.

At BaNgaAfayo, we believe in the power of education to enable children and youth — the future leaders of Uganda — to break the cycle of poverty. Our holistic approach to education involves working with the entire community. Together, with help from teachers, parents, and supporters like you, we are transforming the futures of children and youth in Uganda.
