The Mission of our Internship Placement Program (IPP) is to provide students with a culturally competent, safe, and welcoming learning environment to gain real-world experience. Reinforcing Houston not only services communities of color, but we are also dedicated to providing a safe and educational learning environment for students of color.
Introducing our Summer 2025 Cohort Team!
Every semester our agency accepts 10-12 interns from an accredited college or university to work alongside staff to gain a variety of academic experiences including services on the micro, mezzo, and macro levels.
We accept both foundation and advanced students, with concentrations that are either general, macro, or clinical.
Students may earn their hours virtually and/or in-person, depending on their school requirements.
An ideal student intern must have:
-A pleasant attitude
-An eagerness to learn
-A receptiveness to feedback and coaching
-Commitment to excellence
and must be:
-Reliable, consistent, and hardworking
-Willing to work as a team player
