BALL ABOVE ALL
Stronger Together Now aims to enable, educate and empower youth through connectedness, inclusion, and collaboration. We want to team up with the schools to express the value of education, sports, and the entrepreneurial spirit.
One of STN's popular basketball assemblies focuses on the Triple Threat. It is meant to connect the "triple threat" position in basketball with the social-emotional learning concept of stop, think, and act. By effectively conveying this connection, we empower students in their daily lives, as well as on the basketball court. Imagine a basketball player standing in the triple threat position: feet shoulder-width apart, knees bent, ball held at chest level. In this stance, the player has three options: 1) pass, 2) shoot, or 3) dribble. Each option requires quick thinking, strategic decision-making, and decisive action. Similarly, in life, we often face choices that demand careful consideration before acting. It's about taking a moment to assess the situation, gather information, and consider the potential consequences of each choice. Want to see an example of us in action?
