Dawn Sutherland is former Vice President and Controller for Southern California / Las Vegas Operations of the United States Client Operations division at Xerox Corporation. In this role, Sutherland provides financial leadership for the region and is responsible for delivering profit growth, ensuring effective, internal controls within the operations, developing strategic and financial plans, reporting finances and providing strategic and business planning support. She was appointed to this position in April 2008.
Sutherland has received various Xerox awards for excellence, and in 2007, she received the President’s Club award. Sutherland is a Lean Six Sigma Certified Green Belt. An avid art collector, one of Sutherland’s passions is supporting artists from Africa. In addition, she is on several non-profit boards and hold offices on a few of these organizations boards. She is currently on the advisory board for the Los Angeles Black Employees Association (LABE); Chairperson of the Advisory Board for African focus Inc., an organization focused on intercultural exchange, education and economic empowerment; she also serves on the Los Angeles 26th District African Trade Committee; Black Women’s Public Policy Institute and is very proud to be the Spelman College liaison manager for Xerox’s college program.
Sutherland is also active in the National Black MBA Association, National Association of Professional Women, the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and several other professional organizations. Sutherland holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Boston College, along with a master of social work and a master of business administration in finance and marketing from Atlanta University. Although she was born in Jamaica, Sutherland grew up in the Bronx, N.Y. Sutherland currently resides in Accra, Ghana.

For two decades, Michael Rossi has been focused on bringing expertise, clarity and value to a diverse client base. In the 1980s he was an associate for a boutique financial consulting firm serving physicians and corporate clients in the areas of Estate, Insurance, Retirement, Tax and Succession Planning. The firm formed a wholesale financial distribution division in the early 1990s to meet the growing demand of other financial service professionals seeking special assistance in working with affluent clients.
Under Michael’s direction, the development of this division, ultimately spun off into a new entity, Medallion Financial Distributors. Rossi was named a principal in 1995 and by 1998, with a clear vision of how he wanted to grow the business, bought out the remaining partners. Michael has established Medallion as the go-to financial distribution partner to top level Financial Advisors, Broker Dealers, Banks and RIA Firms.
Growing up in Youngstown, Ohio helped shape Michael’s work ethic, leadership with an understanding of teamwork and the ‘importance of giving back’. His charitable endeavors and eagerness to promote awareness demonstrates the valued of his foundation.

Khov has had a diverse and international multicultural upbringing across 3 continents. Joseph D. Mong is the Owner of J.D. Mong Enterprises, a global Engineering and Research company that specializes in land and commodity acquisitions. He is the epitomy of hard work and perseverance. As a child growing up in Northeast Ohio plagued by the untimely death of his beloved father, Joseph had to grow up, which he did and made hard work his mantra.
He put himself through high school and college, working many odd jobs. His humble beginnings, hard work and can-do attitude made Joseph a small town darling, and everyone who comes in contact with him even as an adult can but only love him. Mr Mong believes that success is a combination of hard work and good planning, and further believes that “luck” is being prepared when the right opportunity arrives.
As a global philantropist, humanitarian, and long time patron of the Shriner’s Burns Hospital, Mr. Mong knows a thing or two about giving-back. He has given selflessly not only his wealth but his time in any capacity that is required of him in many places including soup kitchens in Ohio as well as countries in Africa and India. Mark B. Barron

Capital Crew Entrepreneur, Inventor and Futurist Mark B. Barron started his first business in his youth. Decades later, he is still excited by the next new challenge. Mr. Barron is a native of Southern California and one of the biggest philanthropist the region has seen.
As a child who battled with dyslexia and persevered through it to reach this high level of success, Mark knows what children with physical impairment goes through. In 1979, he invented and patented the “Chemo Cap” to prevent alopecia caused by chemotherapy, an invention that remains on the cutting edge of medical technology today. In 1982, he founded a legal referral consulting firm that worked with well known trial lawyers such as Melvin Belli. Barron launched his highly successful company Public Transportation Safety International (PTS) in 1993.

This patented new delivery system, Consumeron, could prove to be a paradigm shift in e-commerce that will overshadow the likes of Amazon.com. One of his other passions in life is “incentivize birth control”- getting people the right and proper tools before starting a family, which the likes of Warren Buffet and Bill Gates believes in.
