Team is seeking an enthusiastic individual with experience and strong interests in organic/regenerative agriculture and education to help us continue to exert a positive influence on food system change in the communities we serve.
Members of our team will work closely with owners to operate busy and complex farm and food hub operations.
Position is part-time up to 30 hours per week depending on qualifications and candidate’s interests. Essentially, owners are willing to integrate candidate’s individual strengths and interests in the areas below in order to determine the best job package.
Candidate will support educational programming that delves into the origins of healthy food and tenets of sustainability including:
Competitive wages commensurate with the roles and responsibilities described herein. Owners prefer compensation with 1099 reporting format. Benefits include free food and bonuses. This position, with the right candidate and fit, can evolve into a full time Farm/Food Hub manager position with modest expansion of operations including potential livestock.

Candidate will support educational programming that delves into the origins of healthy food and tenets of sustainability including:
- Establishing and maintaining nearby community and school gardens that are both teaching instruments for participating youth and providing food for hunger relief throughout RI and Eastern CT
- Instructor for 5 week Summer “Healthy Living and Food” Camp Experience working with 6-10 year olds, 6-8 hours per week.
- Support other hands-on educational programming (e.g. Learning Expeditions) involving area schools and universities.
- Field work: harvesting, planting, weeding, mulching…
- Greenhouse work: seeding, transplanting, planting, harvesting, pruning, trellising, watering, composting, and other sensitive plant care work
- Food hub work: order fulfillment, e-commerce website management, deliveries, and customer relations - being a good ambassador to local food and our partner farms.
