Hillandale Farm was probably my favorite farm that we went to. That was a very wholesome trip, and I remember Farmer Max’s passion about biodiversity and hearing that they have a program where people with all kinds of abilities get to strengthen their relationship with food on their farm. Hey Max,
Reviewing course reflections from my class that visited you a couple months ago and despite having six field trips in the course, your trip comes up very often as one of their favorites, and as they reflect the most impactful. They often tell how passionate you all are and how sustainable you are and not only your farm operation, but in your livelihood too.
