Academy Camp, ages 12-15 (have attended a previous STAR Camp)

Guidelines

• Students may only be awarded one scholarship per camp season. 
• Students who have received a scholarship in previous years may apply. Those who have not received a scholarship previously may be given priority. 
• There is one application form for all scholarships. Please select all scholarships you would like to be considered for. 
• Scholarship awards must be used for the camp for which they are designated. Do not select a scholarship if you won’t be able to attend the camp it is linked to. 
• Applications must be filled out by the student who is applying. Parents may assist, but the two essay questions should be the student’s words. Junior Astronauts applicants may dictate their responses to the adult helping them. 
• Application forms are due April 12. 
• A scholarship committee will read and evaluate all entries. The scholarship committee members will know only the grade of the letter writer.  All other information such as name, school, and teacher will be withheld.
• The committee will award scholarships no later than April 19. 
• The remaining camp tuition not covered by the award must be paid in full by May 24. 
• Scholarship winners will be expected to write a thank you letter to the donors while they are at camp.
