We enroll throughout the school year and are able to transfer credit for work completed prior to joining Hope.
The first step in enrollment is to give us a call at 775-831-2423 and ask for the Director, Nikki Godard. She will ask about what leads you to consider Hope and what your particular needs and interests are, and to send a transcript or list of completed courses. Your family will be invited to take a tour of our campus and your student will be invited to spend all or part of a “shadow day” with us to be sure we are a good fit.
Upon parent request, we administer baseline tests in English, math, and cognitive skills. This allows us to place your student at his/her ability level by subject regardless of age. In our mastery-based program, your student will be allowed to progress through different subjects as quickly as their motivation and ability allows, and we will also provide the necessary support to bring your child up to grade level for any subject he or she has not yet mastered.
Consistent with our belief that it is the parents’ right to make health decisions for their children, we will not require masks, allow unauthorized testing, or require “vaccinations.”
