Sandra Clayborn was the director of the Umoja (Unity) Center. The Umoja Center was a center providing housing, medication, food and counseling, as well as workshops on health-related issues such as HIV/AIDS, breast/prostate cancer, lupus, obesity, diabetes, heart disease, seniors, youth, transgender issues, and much more. Umoja began as a program of Ebony Pride, which Clayborn was also involved in organizing.
