In Spring of 2025, MET High School students Jasper and Catalina worked together on an oral history project -- interviewing their LGBTQ+ classmates in an effort to preserve their voices in the archives and provide insight into the experiences of LGBTQ+ students in this unique school with a higher than average population of LGBTQ+ students. This project builds on Jasper's Fall 2024 project, where he developed and conducted a survey of LGBTQ+ students at MET high school. The initial survey provided a valuable overview into student experiences and also served as a jumping off point for creating questions for the oral history interviews. This follow-up oral history project serves to build on the initial survey and provide a more in-depth narrative.
