Health Initiatives Mission (HIM) believe that “Love Heals”. Life is hard for the Pokot tribe and only love can heal the unseen injuries sustained by most vulnerable among them: the women and children. What is love other than treating everyone the way you would like to be treated. For a long time, we have allowed tribal differences and ethnic difference to divide us as humanity. We embrace each human being as a sovereign being who has a right to live in peace. As the world comes out of the COVID-19 Pandemic, we believe that humanity is ripe for Restoration. We need restoration of both our health and economic resources. Health Initiatives Mission will be at the forefront to ensure that Restoration within the Pokot Community and its neighbors is done with Love, Peace and Kindness. LOVE Heals!
