Health Initiatives Mission (HIM) is also actively mobilizing businesses, professionals and volunteers from the United States and other parts of the world to help the Pokot people of Rift Valley in Western Kenya. We organize short-term trips to Kenya doing projects in the fields of medicine, well-drilling and peace missions and education. A trip to Kenya would not be complete without a visit to the Maasai Mara and its renowned game viewing. Maasai Mara was featured by “Good Morning America” as one of the new “wonders of the world”, and is an easy day’s drive from Kenya’s capital Nairobi. Loving and helping people should be both fun and rewarding.
Kenya also is home to world famous white Sands of Diani Beach along the Indian Ocean. This is an excellent choice for those that want to relax after the mission trip.
