The Sacramento Blues Society is powered by your contributions and by the hard work of volunteers. We have no staff. 100% of your contribution supports the accomplishment of our mission.
ANNUAL MEMBERSHIPS and RENEWALS
Be a member and do your part in keeping the Blues alive.
All members receive: An electronic edition of our newsletter, Blue Notes, published bi-monthly , "Jan's Jams", a weekly collection of live blues & roots music events in Sacramento and NorCal. Discounted ad rates in Blue Notes. Discounted admission to SBS events and concerts, many of which are produced by our sponsors.
In addition, your support allows us to conduct community programs like Blues in the Schools, Hall of Fame, the Gene Chambers Musicians Crisis Fund, the Mick Martin Student Fund and the Little Charlie Baty Memorial Music Scholarship. Memberships and donations are tax-deductible.
Note: The membership party and the Hall of Fame event include quality live blues.

- Student Member (to age 26): $15 donation.
- Individual Member: $30 donation
- Family Membership: $50 donation (2 adults and 2 children under 18, 2 entries to annual membership party)
- Band Membership: $50 donation.
- One membership card per band - Supporting Member: $51-$250 donation.
- Receives the same benefits as any individual or family member plus up to 4 free entries to the annual membership party. - Sustaining Member: $251-$999 donation.
- Receives the same as a Supporting member plus two entries to the annual Hall of Fame (HOF) event. - VIP member: $1000+ donation
- All the above plus a total of 4 entries to the Hall of Fame event.

Hall of Fame
Annually we elect people in the area who have been a Performer or Supporter of the blues for 20 or more years and who deserve recognition.
