Speech and Language Pathologist Position Details

- Position Pay: $20 – $30 per hour + travel reimbursement
Position Description
Speech Pathologist is a member of a specialized team whose goal is to improve residents’ quality of life through the provision of evidenced-based outpatient treatments. Applies advance theories and techniques to residents. Delivers professional advice and counseling. Provides treatment to intellectually and or developmentally disabled individuals in a residential and or in-home setting.
Position Duties
Speech Pathologist duties include, but not limited to:
- Performs diagnostic assessment and evaluations.
- Administrators of a full range of speech, language, fluency and cognition.
- Conduct interview with family, friends, guardians and Legal Area Representatives.
- Serves as a consultant to KM-Inc facilities.
- Responsible for assessment /reporting of finding to agency.
- Formulate diagnostic
- Collaborate with physicians, office staff and ancillary departments.
- Maintains objectivity in decision-making, utilizing facts to support decisions.
- Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the KM-Inc.
- Achieves ongoing compliance with all regulatory agencies.
- Communicates effectively with all levels in the organization.
Requirements
Social Worker candidates must meet the following requirements,
- 18 years or older
- Master’s Degree or equivalent
- Have at least 5 years’ experience
- Certified copy of a three-year driving record from the DMV.
- Ability to pass a drug screen, physical exam, and a criminal background check.
- Ability to work in a residential and non-residential setting.
Required License or Certification
Social Worker candidates must have the following,
- Valid Driver’s License
- Current Automotive Insurance
- Current Vehicle Inspection and Registration
