The Buddha taught that the practice of generosity (dāna) is the first step on the path to spiritual awakening. Assaya Sangha relies on the generous donations and contributions of energy, time and talents from sangha members. See Volunteer for other ways to contribute.
Support our Teachers
Our teachers are supported by your generosity. Our practice is to ensure that every teacher at Assaya receives equitable distribution of your financial support. Donations to our teachers (called dana in Buddhist tradition) are pooled together at the end of each month and divided by the number of hours each teacher has taught to the community in that month.
Thank you for your generosity and care for our teachers.
Support the Sangha
Being a sustaining donor to Assaya Sangha is so valuable to us. Your generous and regular monthly gift allows us to create new programs, pay our rent, and support our offerings with consistency. When we are able to count on you in our planning, we are able to take advantage of special trainings, guest teachers, and gathering spaces when they are available.
