Queens Building Queens
“It is better to look ahead and prepare than to look back and regret.” - Jackie Joyner-Kersee
Queens Building Queens (QBQ) provides a pathway to freedom through advancement, recognizing financial independence as a key pillar of true freedom. Our objective is to equip our community with the tools and resources necessary to achieve financial growth, professional success, and entrepreneurial excellence, ultimately fostering generational prosperity. We envision a world where all Black and women of color are thriving—financially secure, professionally accomplished, and positioned to create lasting economic opportunities for future generations. Through a combination of courses, workshops, and mentorship, QBQ works to level the playing field, providing access to education and opportunities that drive long-term success.
More than just programs, Queens Building Queens is a supportive network where like-minded women can connect, gain inspiration, and building meaningful relationships. Our intimate, empowering spaces encourage vulnerability, self-expression, and skill development, allowing women of color to break down systemic economic barriers rooted in gender and race.

Revolutionary Black Girls
“The function of freedom is to free someone else.”
- Toni Morrison.
We believe that growth is not an individual journey, but a collective one. Just as a plant needs water and sunlight to flourish, our communities thrive through unity, meaningful connections, and mutual support. Our mission is to cultivate this sense of solidarity by fostering strong relationships among Black women, empowering our communities, and creating opportunities to give back to underserved populations. We support one another in every aspect of life, with an unwavering commitment to building a foundation of trust and collaboration.
We envision a world where Black individuals and communities grow and thrive through deep-rooted connections, mutual support, and collective empowerment. Through our initiatives, we strive to build a network that uplifts, inspires, and reinforces the strength of Black unity.
