​Founded in 2020, The HALT Foundation is passionate about serving the mental health needs of communities in Virginia and beyond through advancing availability and access of equine-assisted services. 

​Our focus is on financially supporting individuals and groups seeking equine assisted services, financially supporting the professionals that work in the field  through scholarships for training and certification, as well as financially supporting the needs of centers providing equine assisted learning and psychotherapy.

We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to the advancement of the field of
​equine assisted learning and psychotherapy. ​
