WHO ARE OUR PARTNERS?
Pedal Partners are connected to the community and know those in need, which allows us focus on collecting and restoring bikes. Any organization that connects with low income people can become a Pedal Partner. This includes schools, the Department of Veterans Affairs, mental health clinics, youth organizations, judicial system, churches, homeless shelters, recovery programs, foster care, and more. |
Each year, Pedal It Forward NWA distributes
bikes to kids, parents and those in need.
HOW DO PEDAL PARTNERS BENEFIT
FROM THE PROGRAM?
Bicycles can serve as effective “tools” for organizations to meet their mission. A few examples include having group bike rides as part of a therapeutic program or family bike rides for bonding and reunification efforts. Programs can see increased attendance by offering bikes as free transportation. Bikes can also be used as incentives for achieving a Partner identified goal. Schools can see improved focus and academics through evidence-based ADHD programs, as well as increased participation in after-school activities for kids. The list goes on. At the end of the day, bikes offer a sense of freedom and confidence that can be quite powerful. |
RETURNING HOME
"Pedal It Forward is such an amazing partner organization. They donate bikes to Returning Home for our residential clients to use. This provides clients the means to get to and from work! Our men are pedaling towards self sufficiency every day." RETURNING HOME • RETURNINGHOMENWA.COM |
