Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
Happy February! We are excited to share that preparations for our 2025 summer season are well underway. We’re busy hiring our staff and getting everything ready to ensure this summer is unforgettable for all our campers. In this newsletter, you’ll meet Josh, a camper who embraced his adventurous side and found a new passion for archery. Josh’s first year at camp was made even more special by his friendship with his counselor, Ethan, who shared his interests in WWE, rap music, and fashion. Josh’s story is a great example of how camp can help participants connect with others and try new things. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
Happy New Year! We are thrilled to kick off 2025 with exciting news—registration for our summer season is now open! The momentum is building, and we can already feel the excitement in the air. If your camper is planning to join us this summer, we encourage you to get their application in soon. We operate on a first-come, first-served basis, and once slots are filled, any additional applicants will be placed on a waitlist. Now for some fun news and content! In this newsletter, you’ll meet Kellan, a determined camper who learned invaluable lessons about teamwork and sportsmanship during our Learning Disabilities Session. Kellan’s story highlights the power of camp, where he learned valuable lessons about personal growth, teamwork, and making new friends. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
As we approach the end of the year, we are filled with excitement and anticipation for what 2025 holds. Registration for our 2025 summer season opens in January, and we cannot wait to welcome hundreds of new and returning campers. Your support has made this possible, and we hope you will consider making a year-end donation to help us continue our mission. In this newsletter, you’ll meet Tanner, a camper whose love for quiet observation and creativity made his summer at Camp Tatiyee truly special. Tanner’s journey is a reminder that there’s no one way to enjoy camp—whether through art, science, or quiet reflection, every camper finds their own path to joy and growth. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
As the holiday season approaches, I want to personally extend my warmest wishes to all our supporters and the amazing campers we serve. I hope you enjoy a season filled with joy, love, and cherished moments with your loved ones. In this newsletter, we are thrilled to introduce you to Kai, a 10-year-old with Cerebral Palsy who has attended our camp for three summers. This year was particularly special for Kai, as he made remarkable strides in his personal growth and independence, thanks to the support of his favorite counselor, JD. Kai’s journey demonstrates the transformative power of camp, where friendships and trust empower campers to discover their true potential. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
We are thrilled to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month this October! At Lions Camp Tatiyee, we are proud to serve hundreds of youth with Down syndrome every year, offering them a summer camp experience that is entirely free of charge. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where every camper can thrive and create lasting memories. In this newsletter, you’ll meet Carter, whose infectious enthusiasm and supportive spirit have made him a favorite among friends and counselors alike. Carter’s performances in our talent show and his excitement for science experiments showcase his incredible zest for life and willingness to try new things. He is a great role model for other campers, and simply a wonderful human being in general. |
