Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
We are thrilled to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month this October! At Lions Camp Tatiyee, we are proud to serve hundreds of youth with Down syndrome every year, offering them a summer camp experience that is entirely free of charge. Our mission is to provide a supportive and inclusive environment where every camper can thrive and create lasting memories. In this newsletter, you’ll meet Carter, whose infectious enthusiasm and supportive spirit have made him a favorite among friends and counselors alike. Carter’s performances in our talent show and his excitement for science experiments showcase his incredible zest for life and willingness to try new things. He is a great role model for other campers, and simply a wonderful human being in general. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,

We’re halfway through our 2024 summer season, and it’s been an incredible journey so far! We’ve already served nearly 250 campers, and the energy at camp is absolutely electrifying. With new programs like go-kart racing and kayaking, our campers are having the time of their lives. It’s been wonderful to see so many smiling faces and witness so many amazing summer memories being made on our campgrounds. In this newsletter, you’ll meet Bella, a camper whose journey from shy to shining star is truly heartwarming. Bella arrived at camp feeling overwhelmed, but with the support of her counselors and new friends, she found her confidence. By the end of the week, she was dancing, baking, and fully embracing the camp spirit. Dear Camp Tatiyee Supporters, Families, and Community,
Summer is officially here, and we couldn't be more excited to kick off our 2024 season! Our campgrounds are buzzing with anticipation as we welcome twice as many campers as last year. Yep, we DOUBLED our service capacity in 2024. This summer promises to be our best one yet, filled with new adventures, friendships, and unforgettable memories. One of the most thrilling additions to our camp this year is the introduction of go-kart racing and kayaking. These new programs are designed to offer our campers even more opportunities to explore, challenge themselves, and have fun. We're confident that these activities will become fast favorites, adding to the diversity of experiences that make Lions Camp Tatiyee so special. |
