We are currently renting a three-bedroom house serving 18 people. We have been unable to take any more children due to the lack of room to provide proper care for them. Our new home will give us the ability to serve more children. We will also be opening a school that will serve the community children that are largely in a rural area. For those unable to pay for school, we will be offering scholarships, so no child is left behind. Will be able to provide it well balanced meal well at school as well.
In the future, we will be opening free child care, so that mothers can go to work knowing their children are safe and cared for. This will help orphan crisis in rural Ethiopia we’re families have to make painful decisions in order to feed and care for the children they already have. In the future we hope to offer housing for unwed mothers with job training. Our goal at Numan Childrens home is to preserve the first family.
