HEALTH & SAFETY MEASURESUpdated: January 7, 2023
Effective immediately, Next Stage will determine its COVID safety policies based on the CDC’s COVID-19 Community Level map, which may be accessed below. Levels can be low (green), medium (yellow), or high (red), and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area.
To see the most up-to-date guidelines for COVID 19 precautions, visit https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/your-health/covid-by-county.html
LOW (GREEN): Masks are optional at Next Stage events. Limited capacity and proof of vaccination are not required at this time.
MEDIUM (YELLOW): Masks are encouraged at indoor events for all attendees at high risk for getting very sick. Limited capacity and proof of vaccination are not required at this time.
HIGH (RED): Next Stage will reassess its masking, capacity, and vaccination requirement guidelines based on recommendations from medical professionals and the CDC at that time.
Next Stage employees, volunteers, and show attendees may choose to mask at any time. Anyone with symptoms, a positive test, or exposure to someone with COVID-19 is encouraged to remain at home.
The CDC updates the COVID-19 Community Level map every Thursday by 8pm ET. We encourage show attendees to check the map on the day of the show that they plan to attend.
Our safety policies throughout the pandemic have been determined in consultation with Dr. Kathleen McGraw, Chief Medical Officer at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital and Vice-President of Next Stage’s Board of Directors.
These policies are subject to change based on state guidelines and/or as guidance evolves.
