THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 400,000 CHILDREN AND YOUTH EXPERIENCING FOSTER CARE ACROSS THE UNITED STATES
National Angels chapters are building communities of people all across the country that are literally changing the way children, youth, and families experience foster care. Passionate donors, volunteers, mentors, partners, and advocates across the nation are all ripples in the sea of change for our foster care community.

​The challenges faced by foster parents and kinship caregivers, such as stress, isolation, and financial strain, can lead to instability for children in their care. Without adequate support, these caregivers may struggle to provide a stable and nurturing environment, resulting in frequent moves, disrupted education, and emotional and behavioral issues for the children. View sources.

RESEARCH SHOWS THAT OUR PROGRAMS ​ARE COMBATTING THE STATISTICS

​We partnered with the University of Texas at Austin, Texas Institute for Child & Family Wellbeing (TXICFW)
​ to conduct an outcome evaluation on our programming. After years of receiving anecdotal feedback attesting to the effectiveness of our programs, we are excited to have evidence and insights of the impact our work has had on the well-being, transformation, and outcomes of the children, youth, caregivers, and volunteers who have participated in our programs over the years.
