NIGHTS OF SWEET RELIEF
Nights for Sweet Relief is a $.50 cent per-ticket add-on program for venues to raise money for musicians, crews, venue workers and their families, who are struggling to pay their expenses due to injury, illness or disability. Please join Sweet Relief and help us provide a safety net for our music community. Some of the benefits of participating are:
- Marketing – Sweet Relief provides supplemental marketing for the show calendar via our website, e-blasts and social media outlets.
- Charitable Tax Receipts – Sweet Relief provides Charitable Tax Receipts for the amount of money raised through this initiative for tax deduction purposes.
- Philanthropic Equity – Participation in this program engenders goodwill from the music community of fans and performing artists. Each venue receives a special wall plaque, denoting participation in the program and showcasing their support of musicians and Sweet Relief.

ADD-A-BUCK INITIATIVE
The Add-A-Buck initiative is the most effective way for a touring artist to support Sweet Relief.
HOW IT WORKS:
Once we receive commitment from an artist or band, we will work with the agent and the promoter(s) to handle the simple logistics. Please note, it’s best to include this in the contracts with promoters, during the routing phase, itemized as “charitable donation.”

HOW IT WORKS:

- Does not siphon from any of the artist’s revenue streams
- Extra layer of marketing added to tour through Sweet Relief’s social medias, including FB ad spends & boosts
- Artist may receive charitable tax receipt in the amount of funds raised
- Engenders philanthropic equity among the music community and fans, who are happy to support the cause with this marginal donation
- Funds raised in each market can stay local, benefitting the struggling musicians in close proximity to the venues. This allows us to engage with each promoter, creates a newsworthy story in each market, and engenders support from the local media and ticket buyers. One charity, every market.
