Tierra Snowden,
Annapolis High School, 2001 B.S. Biology, University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, 2005 Tierra Snowden, a native Annapolitan, was a Boy & Girls Club member for ten years and excelled in numerous programs while serving as a role model for her peers. Tierra received the Annapolis Trust's scholarship and completed her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2006. Tierra worked at the Boys & Girls Clubs for 7 years as an executive assistant and director of program operations where she ensured the success of club programs. She was also inducted in the club's Hall of Inspiration as a club alumanae. Tierra will continue her service to youth in her new job as program assistant for DC Youthlink for the National Center of Children and Families. She also is a member of the Advisory Board for the Annapolis Trust. “The Annapolis & Anne Arundel County Scholarship Trust was an inspiration for me to be a first-generation college graduate and I am very much appreciative of the financial support that it provided to my education.” |
