By supporting this fundraiser, you will bless the children of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico by helping an organization exclusively devoted to saving the lives of children facing life threatening illnesses by helping us import two to three additional 16-meter trucks of medical supplies and equipment into Mexico in 2025 alone. The first shipment in January will contain six (6) hemodialysis machines, supplies and medical equipment for children who are facing advanced cases of kidney disease who cannot afford their dialysis treatment. There are currently 96 Dialysis patients, many of them children but only a small fraction can afford treatment. In collaboration with the SMA Dialysis Clinic, children with financial need will not be charged for their treatment.
In addition, by aiding, you will be helping open a no-cost Clinic and Warehouse in 2025 and 2026 to provide counseling, pediatric outpatient care for radiology procedures, dialysis, diabetes, respiratory conditions, young-adult gynecology, nutrition, depression, and eating disorders.

About the Chef: Mario Rivera Hernández
Born in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz, Chef Mario took his first steps in gastronomy at a very young age while at his family's restaurant. His experience was acquired working in renowned restaurants throughout Mexico, forming his own style of gastronomy.
Previously Chef Hernández held prestigious positions as Chef at a number of restaurants and resorts including Zadún, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Baja Sur, the Rosewood San Miguel de Allende, the Hyatt Regency, the Dorado Maroma and the NIZUC Resort & Spa.
In July 2024, Chef Mario joined the Hacienda San José Lavista family as Chef of the La Vista Restaurant and their vineyard, embodying his stamp in each dish we offer, making a great synergy with our award-winning wines and his gastronomic vision, to leave us a harmony of flavors.
