Good health is important to all of us.
And for the people we love.
"Our experience in Rwanda is that an early emphasis on primary healthcare was one of the most effective strategies for rebuilding... in the aftermath of our national tragedy." ‒ President Paul Kagame
Who We AreWe are doers.
We are an independent not-for-profit initiative supported by donors like you.
Our team delivers care, and brings the drive and best thinking in global health to bear on primary healthcare innovation in Rwanda and beyond. And we love doing it. |
What We DoTop priority: primary healthcare across Africa.
We are a nonprofit initiative providing essential healthcare in Rwanda, where 49% live in poverty, life expectancy is 10 years less than the United States, and climate change is expected to hit hard.
We have partnerships with government, non-profit, and community-based organizations. We create innovative, sustainable approaches to achieving universal access to healthcare, as envisioned in Rwanda’s national health objectives. Together, we will contribute to significant reductions in child and maternal mortality, and longer and healthier lives for all. |
Our ProgramsWe tackle Rwanda's toughest health challenges in innovative and sustainable ways.
Our flagship initiatives are: expanding access to healthcare for women and girls; scaling screenings and education for diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other non-communicable diseases; and bringing new models for how to deliver the highest standards of care to the doorsteps of all Rwandans. Imagine genomics informing primary healthcare.
By scaling up investment in public health programs like these, especially in the health of women and girls, we have an outsized impact on families and communities. And we influence health systems across the globe. |
