Founded in 2019, we provide space for community members to come together to share their experiences and organize for systemic change.

What We Do The Coalition supports individuals and communities in the following ways:
Legislative Education
We engage our community members in the policymaking process through political education, bi-weekly community policy working group meetings, and direct advocacy events!
Expungement Resources
We provide services and support for individuals to expunge or seal their criminal records, especially for cannabis offenses. We advocate to promote the expansion of automatic expungement, and to ensure that anyone with a criminal record is able to access record clearing.
Community Benefits Agreements
Advocating for cannabis businesses to collaborate with community organizations by encouraging the implementation of Community Benefits Agreements.
Know Your Rights
We host Know Your Rights education sessions and promote KYR information to ensure nobody else is criminalized for cannabis.
We are the WatchdogWe seek to hold the government accountable for the harms from the War on Drugs and systemic disinvestment. We watchdog the industry to ensure Black and Brown people who built the Legacy Industry are included, respected, and prospering.
