CalFresh Outreach Coordinator

Maria is a community-minded professional with a background in case management and program coordination. At Wesley House, Maria serves as the CalFresh Outreach Coordinator, working to raise awareness of CalFresh (known nationally as SNAP or Food Stamps) and help college students enroll in the federal food assistance program. She is the first to hold this position with Wesley House and has designed the program from the ground-up.

Maria is a Certified Nursing Assistant with experience supporting families and individuals of all ages on their health journeys. In her most recent position, she was responsible for providing comprehensive support and crisis intervention for at-risk and low-income families in Orange County.

Maria has spent her career focused on community and building strong networks and relationships that benefit those she serves.
