Position Title: Housing Navigator
Reports To: Housing & Supportive Services Manager Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Housing & Supportive Services Manager, the Housing Navigator is responsible for connecting low-income college students with the resources and support necessary to secure and maintain permanent housing so they may focus on their higher education studies. This position will help clients on a pathway to successfully prepare for, locate, and maintain permanent housing by using an individualized approach. Following the Housing First model, this role involves providing "active" linkages throughout various stages of housing establishment. Navigators act as advocates, referral agents, and facilitators, collaborating with property owners, service providers, government agencies, and community stakeholders to promote participant success. |
