We have been operating our Food Pantry here in McKinney, Texas, for almost 3 years and have been privileged to touch many lives. I happen to be a single mother of three, and I experienced hardship while I raised my children, and I'm humbled to say that it is with this conviction that I am passionate about single mothers and their families' well-being.
Our Food Pantry is best described as a client choice; which means that our vulnerable clients, from diverse cultures, can come into our pantry, and shop, just like they would do at the grocery store.
The atmosphere in our pantry is family-friendly and has the feel of a mom-and-pop shop. From arrival to departure, our clients are attended to with warmth, dignity, and respect. Our mission not only focuses on feeding the hungry with nutritious food, making sure that no family goes to bed hungry, but we also provide our clients with household items,(paper products - adult/baby diapers and wipes, toiletries, clothing, etc.
