with Archana Matela, PM, a graduate student at University of Washington, and an educator Archana will be talking about the reasons behind the rising cost of Insulin, how citizen activism is making an impact, and the recent developments that have taken place to increase the transparency on drug pricing. She will also be sharing few resources that can help you bring down the cost of Insulin. This session is for anyone who wants to understand the complexities of Insulin drug pricing in a simple and concise manner. ABOUT ARCHANA MATELA Archana is a Volunteer at Diabetes and Me, as well as a Program Manager at BergenMedia, a graduate student at the University of Washington, and an educator. She is an empathetic listener who is committed to understanding people and building long lasting relationships. She has 10+ years of experience in education, curriculum development, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in different countries. She has worked with various nonprofits and schools to spearhead initiatives focused on making education accessible and inclusive. She is looking forward to graduating from the University of Washington, Seattle in the summer of 2020 with a degree in Master of Science in Information Management. |
