Caring for your child through marital issues and during single parenting can be a tough road to navigate on top of the other compounded new responsibilities. Kristen will be interviewed and discuss how to ensure your child's health and welfare comes first and before any disputes and how the laws are created to protect our children to be able to do so. 

ABOUT KRISTEN BIENSTOCK

Kristen L. Bienstock earned her J.D. Degree from New England School of Law in 2002. She graduated with Dean's list honors, as well as winning the Public Interest Law Grant. After law school, she spent time in California honing her family law skills at various local family law firms before moving to Washington. Kristen believed that in starting her own practice, she could be more effective in helping people deal with a variety of legal issues and founded Bienstock Law, PLLC to assist people through one of the most disheartening times in their lives .

Ms. Bienstock has represented many clients in contested and uncontested dissolution proceedings, domestic violence cases, adoptions, relocation cases, child custody and child support modifications. Ms. Bienstock was a Mentee attorney with the King County Bar Association's Family Law Mentor Program. She was also involved with Lawyers Fostering Independence, which is a program for children aging out of the foster care system and was actively involved in Pro Bono work with the King County Bar Associations Free Legal Clinics Family Law Programs and has received the Pro Bono Publico Service Commendation for years 2010 - 2018.

Kristen has won the 10 best attorneys in client satisfaction from the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys for 2017-2019 and has also been recognized as the top 100 family law attorneys in the State of Washington for the year 2018 by the American Society of Legal Advocates, as well as the top 100 Attorneys for 2019 from the American Academy of Attorneys. Ms. Bienstock has also been recognized by Lawyers of Distinction for excellence in family law and divorce law for 2019.
